New Business Development (national and international)
Business development at FIER means supporting a company in the process of financial-economic and organisational feasibility studies, analysing the market-opportunities, finding the right partners and acquiring the needed finance and subsidy for realising the new business venture.
Activities:
- Financial-economic feasibility studies for strategic decision making, for finance and for subsidy application
- Supporting in defining entry strategies, business planning and project planning
- Partner search, partner selection, consortium building and consortium management
- Project management
Application of subsidy and subsidy management, for example: subsidies for international export studies; export grants; subsidies for innovation and co-operation projects (national and international). |

FIER supports management of companies in goal setting and in defining their business strategy. The consultants of FIER can guide the management through the process of decision making, but can also provide input to the policy by means of internal and external analysis of the company and its environment. For supporting strategic decision making at SME’s, FIER has access to various Dutch subsidy programs.
For the purpose of business planning and new business development, FIER is experienced in market research (sales and purchasing) and in in-depth client satisfaction surveys. |

FIER is preferred consultant to several government agencies and regional development authorities in the Netherlands and abroad for advising on management issues in the automotive industry. For this, FIER carries out industry studies, draws sector overviews, recommends on industry strategy and advises on government policy for national of regional development.

Through various projects in for example Slovenia, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, FIER shares in-depth expertise on forming industry clusters. The experience includes initiating projects to form an industry cluster, bringing companies and public bodies together in the network, (business) planning the network, project-management, financial and subsidy “engineering” and organising cluster activities and events. |
